Frappa believes and invests in renewable energy sources: respect for the environment and the territory have led the company to acquiring high specialization over the years, in the construction of biomass power plants and photovoltaic systems. Each work project is carried out by highly qualified technicians, keeping the needs of the customer in mind.

Biogas

The company has gained a particularly high specialization in the construction of biogas plants, making slurry storage tanks out of reinforced concrete, cast on site. The tanks are of various cubic capacities and shapes (rectangular, circular, elliptical) horizontal silos and trenches for the storage of the cut material to use in the plant.

All works are carried out by using high quality certified materials that are highly resistant to corrosion in the slurry acids. In the production of artefacts, the utmost compliance with the design dimensions is required to ensure the subsequent installation of the sophisticated technological equipment.

The perfect waterproofing of the artefacts is guaranteed by using special hydraulic couplings that are both horizontal and vertical. The tanks are then finished with a thermal and protective coating composed of insulating material and fretted metal sheet. Earth-moving equipment, pipe installation for the plant to function, building a service warehouse for the plant and internal roads are all part of the works.

Photovoltaic

Frappa Edilizia builds environmentally sustainable constructions using renewable energy sources such as the one produced by a high efficiency photovoltaic system. This technological solution, when combined with an appropriately designed building envelope and using materials that are not harmful to health and that have a low environmental impact, increases energy conservation, reduces losses to a minimum and makes the building independent and autonomous, allowing us to reach the highest energy classification (A or A+).
